Open Google Maps, search for your business, click “Get more reviews” in the reviews section, and copy the link. That link takes anyone who clicks it directly to the review form for your business.
Quick summary:
- Go to Google Maps
- Search for your business name
- Click on your business listing
- Click “Get more reviews” (or the share icon near the reviews section)
- Copy the link Google gives you
Step by step
Open Google Maps in your browser (not the app, the browser version is easier for this). Search for your business by name. Click on your listing. Scroll to the reviews section. You will see a “Get more reviews” option or a share icon. Click it and Google gives you a short URL.
The URL is short. It begins with g.page and ends in /review, with a string in the middle that identifies your business and nobody else. When a customer clicks it, Google opens the review form with the star rating selector ready to go. They do not have to search for you, find you on the map, or navigate to the review section. One tap and they are writing.
Where to use the link
Put it everywhere your customers might see it:
Print it as a QR code and place it at the register, on the table, or on your receipt. A small sign next to it saying “Enjoyed your visit? Leave us a Google review” is enough context.
Include it in follow-up text messages or emails. After an appointment or a delivery, send a brief message: “Thanks for coming in! If you have a minute: [link].”
Add it to your email signature. Every email you send becomes a passive review request.
Put it in your Instagram bio or link-in-bio page. Customers who found you on Instagram and want to review you can find the link there.
Why the direct link matters
Without the link, a customer has to open Google Maps, search for your business name (and hope they spell it right and find the correct listing), scroll past photos and info to the reviews section, and then tap to write a review. That is five steps. Most people abandon the process somewhere in the middle.
The direct link cuts it to one step. They tap and they are writing. The fewer steps between “I want to leave a review” and “I submitted a review,” the more reviews you get.
What to do with the reviews you collect
Once reviews start coming in, share them on Instagram. Prizz pulls your Google reviews and turns them into branded Instagram posts in seconds. See our guide on how to share Google reviews on Instagram.
